We are asking everyone to bring in a family picture no larger than 4x6 by Monday the 9th for a school bulletin board. Don't forget that tomorrow is Spirit Wear Day! In the front cover of your child's assignment notebook, you will find your child's access codes for SUMDOG and X-TRA MATH websites. Please keep these codes there for the year. These webistes will be assigned as homework on certain evenings. They may also do them on their own for extra practice. The webistes are listed at the bottom of the BLOG or you can google them too!
MATH:
The third graders reviewed tellingn time to the hour. They have math homework tonight!
The fourth graders started to learn how to use a text book and take notes with math vocabulary. They were assigned Sumdog as their homework tonight.
We brainstormed rules of school and the playground with partners. We discussed them as a whole community and will create our Student Learning Community goals which we will follow all year. Look for these sent home soon!
Mr. Hudy gave a demonstration on various instruments. We encourage your child to sign up for band this year! Look for information to be sent home.
